Yanhusuo CORYDALIS RHIZOMA

This product is the dried tuber of Corydalis yanhusuo W.T.Wang,a plant in the poppy family.When the stems and leaves wither in early summer,dig them,remove the fibrous roots,wash them,boil them in boiling water or steam them until there is no white heart,take them out and dry them in the sun.
[properties]the product is irregular oblate,with a diameter of 0.5~1.5cm.The surface is yellow or yellowish brown,with irregular reticular wrinkles.There are slightly concave stem marks at the top and pimple like protrusions at the bottom.It is hard and brittle,with yellow section,horny like and waxy luster.It has a slight breath and a bitter taste.
[identification](1)the powder of this product is green and yellow.Gelatinized starch granules are light yellow or nearly colorless.The thick walled cells of the lower skin are green and yellow,and the cells are polygonal,square like or long strip-shaped.The walls are slightly curved,lignified,and some become Beaded thickened with fine pits.Threaded conduit diameter 16~32μm。

[inspection]the moisture content shall not exceed 15.0%(the second method of general rule 0832).
The total ash content shall not exceed 4.0%(general rule 2302).
Aflatoxin is determined according to the first method of aflatoxin determination method in mycotoxin determination method(general rule 2351).

The content of aflatoxin B1 per 1000g of this product shall not exceed 5μg.The total amount of aflatoxin G2,aflatoxin G1,aflatoxin B2 and aflatoxin B1 shall not exceed 10μg。
[extract]according to the hot leaching method under the alcohol soluble extract determination method(general rule 2201),dilute ethanol shall be used as the solvent,which shall not be less than 13.0%.

The determination method accurately absorbs 10%of the control solution and 10%of the test solution respectivelyμl.Inject it into the liquid chromatograph for determination.
This product is calculated as dry product,and the content of tetrahydropalmatine(c21h25no4)shall not be less than 0.050%.
